Singapore (March 27): The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about numerous challenges and disruption to all activities at the moment. The priority of the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) will always be the safety of all the players, delegates and staff that will be participating and attending any of our tournaments.

On behalf of the organising committee, consisting of the Hong Kong Golf Association, The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club and the APGC, we would like to inform you that the 29th Nomura Cup will be postponed due to the global impact of COVID-19.

If the opportunity arises for the Nomura Cup to be held this year, we will send out a notice, but presently we do not foresee an opportunity to stage the Nomura Cup in 2020 and will, therefore, prepare to stage the tournament from June 8-11, 2021 at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club, Hong Kong.

The APGC remains committed to holding the championship together with the Hong Kong Golf Association at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club.

We trust that all the national associations of the APGC member countries are taking the necessary precautions as required by their respective national health authorities. Please stay safe and we look forward to communicating with all of you in the coming months.
